Campos são especificados através de atributos de classe. Por exemplo, a <a class=\"reference internal\" href=\"/pt-br/6.1/ref/models/fields/#django.db.models.CharField\" title=\"django.db.models.CharField\"><code class=\"xref py py-class docutils literal notranslate\"><span class=\"pre\">CharField</span></code></a> (e suas subclasses) requerem um argumento <a class=\"reference internal\" href=\"/pt-br/6.1/ref/models/fields/#django.db.models.CharField.max_length\" title=\"django.db.models.CharField.max_length\"><code class=\"xref py py-attr docutils literal notranslate\"><span class=\"pre\">max_length</span></code></a> o qual especifica o comprimento usado para armazenar dados do campo <code class=\"docutils literal notranslate\"><span class=\"pre\">VARCHAR</span></code> do banco de dados.</p>\n<p>Também há um conjunto de argumentos comuns disponíveis para todos os tipos de campos. Todos opcionais. O padrão é  <code class=\"docutils literal notranslate\"><span class=\"pre\">False</span></code>.</p>\n<p>Note que isso é diferente de <a class=\"reference internal\" href=\"/pt-br/6.1/ref/models/fields/#django.db.models.Field.null\" title=\"django.db.models.Field.null\"><code class=\"xref py py-attr docutils literal notranslate\"><span class=\"pre\">null</span></code></a>. <a class=\"reference internal\" href=\"/pt-br/6.1/ref/models/fields/#django.db.models.Field.null\" title=\"django.db.models.Field.null\"><code class=\"xref py py-attr docutils literal notranslate\"><span class=\"pre\">null</span></code></a> é puramente relacionado ao banco de dados, enquanto que o <a class=\"reference internal\" href=\"/pt-br/6.1/ref/models/fields/#django.db.models.Field.blank\" title=\"django.db.models.Field.blank\"><code class=\"xref py py-attr docutils literal notranslate\"><span class=\"pre\">blank</span></code></a> é relacionado a validação. Se um campo tiver <a class=\"reference internal\" href=\"/pt-br/6.1/ref/models/fields/#django.db.models.Field.blank\" title=\"django.db.models.Field.blank\"><code class=\"xref py py-attr docutils literal notranslate\"><span class=\"pre\">blank=True</span></code></a>, a validação do “form” permitirá entrada de ym valor vazio.
