This regression\nappeared in 1.8.5 as a side effect of fixing <a class=\"extlink-ticket reference external\" href=\"https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/24704\">#24704</a>.</p></li>\n<li><p>Made deferred models use their proxied model’s <code class=\"docutils literal notranslate\">_meta.apps</code> for caching\nand retrieval (<a class=\"extlink-ticket reference external\" href=\"https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/25563\">#25563</a>).
