We highly recommend and\nonly officially support the latest release of each series.
\n
The Django 1.6 series is the last to support Python 2.6. Django 1.7 is the\nfirst release to support Python 3.4.
\n
This change should affect only a small number of Django users, as most\noperating-system vendors today are shipping Python 2.7 or newer as their\ndefault version. If you’re still using Python 2.6, however, you’ll need to\nstick to Django 1.6 until you can upgrade your Python version.
