Django 1.6.2 fixes\nseveral bugs in 1.6.1:</p>\n<ul class=\"simple\">\n<li><p>Prevented the base geometry object of a prepared geometry to be garbage\ncollected, which could lead to crash Django\n(<a class=\"extlink-ticket reference external\" href=\"https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/21662\">#21662</a>).</p></li>\n<li><p>Fixed a crash when executing the <a class=\"reference internal\" href=\"/en/dev/ref/django-admin/#django-admin-changepassword\"><code class=\"xref std std-djadmin docutils literal notranslate\">changepassword</code></a> command when the\nuser object representation contained non-ASCII characters\n(<a class=\"extlink-ticket reference external\" href=\"https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/21627\">#21627</a>).</p></li>\n<li><p>The <a class=\"reference internal\" href=\"/en/dev/ref/contrib/staticfiles/#django-admin-collectstatic\"><code class=\"xref std std-djadmin docutils literal notranslate\">collectstatic</code></a> command will raise an error rather than\ndefault to using the current working directory if <a class=\"reference internal\" href=\"/en/dev/ref/settings/#std-setting-STATIC_ROOT\"><code class=\"xref std std-setting docutils literal notranslate\">STATIC_ROOT</code></a> is\nnot set. Combined with the <code class=\"docutils literal notranslate\">--clear</code> option, the previous behavior could\nwipe anything below the current working directory\n(<a class=\"extlink-ticket reference external\" href=\"https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/21581\">#21581</a>).</p></li>\n<li><p>Fixed mail encoding on Python 3.3.3+\n(<a class=\"extlink-ticket reference external\" href=\"https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/21093\">#21093</a>).</p></li>\n<li><p>Fixed an issue where when\n<code class=\"docutils literal notranslate\">settings.DATABASES['default']['AUTOCOMMIT'] = False</code>, the connection\nwasn’t in autocommit mode but Django pretended it was.</p></li>\n<li><p>Fixed a regression in multiple-table inheritance <code class=\"docutils literal notranslate\">exclude()</code> queries\n(<a class=\"extlink-ticket reference external\" href=\"https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/21787\">#21787</a>).</p></li>\n<li><p>Added missing items to <code class=\"docutils literal notranslate\">django.utils.timezone.__all__</code>\n(<a class=\"extlink-ticket reference external\" href=\"https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/21880\">#21880</a>).</p></li>\n<li><p>Fixed a field misalignment issue with <code class=\"docutils literal notranslate\">select_related()</code> and model\ninheritance\n(<a class=\"extlink-ticket reference external\" href=\"https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/21413\">#21413</a>).</p></li>\n<li><p>Fixed join promotion for negated <code class=\"docutils literal notranslate\">AND</code> conditions\n(<a class=\"extlink-ticket reference external\" href=\"https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/21748\">#21748</a>).</p></li>\n<li><p>Oracle database introspection now works with boolean and float fields\n(<a class=\"extlink-ticket reference external\" href=\"https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/19884\">#19884</a>).</p></li>\n<li><p>Fixed an issue where lazy objects weren’t actually marked as safe when passed\nthrough <a class=\"reference internal\" href=\"/en/dev/ref/utils/#django.utils.safestring.mark_safe\" title=\"django.utils.safestring.mark_safe\"><code class=\"xref py py-func docutils literal notranslate\">mark_safe()</code></a> and could end up being\ndouble-escaped (<a class=\"extlink-ticket reference external\" href=\"https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/21882\">#21882</a>).</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Additionally, Django’s vendored version of six, <code class=\"docutils literal notranslate\">django.utils.six</code> has been\nupgraded to the latest release (1.5.2).</p>","rootId":"django-1-6-2-release-notes","toc":[],"breadcrumbs":[{"docname":"releases/index","title":"Release notes","url":"/en/dev/releases/"}],"prev":{"docname":"releases/1.6.3","title":"Django 1.6.3 release notes","url":"/en/dev/releases/1.6.3/"},"next":{"docname":"releases/1.6.1","title":"Django 1.6.1 release notes","url":"/en/dev/releases/1.6.1/"},"formats":{"html":"/en/dev/releases/1.6.2/","markdown":"/en/dev/releases/1.6.2.md","json":"/en/dev/releases/1.6.2.json"},"source":"https://github.com/django/django/blob/main/docs/releases/1.6.2.txt","official":"https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/releases/1.6.2/","inVersions":["dev","6.1","6.0","5.2","5.1","5.0","4.2","4.1","4.0","3.2","3.1","3.0","2.2","2.1","2.0","1.11","1.10","1.9","1.8"],"inLocales":["en"]}
